Linde-Griffith Construction

projects

Dayton Avenue School

Linde-Griffith installed over 900 piles, averaging approximately 100’ in length, all requiring splicing for the brand new 448,000 square-foot Dayton Avenue school. The new Dayton Avenue Education Campus is situated on the former site of the Beth Israel Hospital. When the hospital was demolished, numerous foundations, underground slabs, vaults, etc. were left in place which required predrilling in advance of the pile installation in order to adequately clear the intended path for each driven pile down to the required bearing stratum. Despite these subsurface obstructions, Linde-Griffith completed its work over 3 months ahead of schedule, utilizing multiple piling rigs and crews.
