DRIVEN
FOUNDATION PILES
Linde-Griffith Construction Co. traditionally has been known as
the premier pile driving firm in New Jersey. Our fleet has more
than twenty pile driving rigs capable of installing conventional
piles, as small as six inches and as large thirty-six inches in
diameter. The lengths of these piles range from as short as five
feet (spliced sectional piles in limited headroom conditions) to
as long as three hundred feet (driven in one hundred twenty foot
sections and spliced).
Linde-Griffith Construction Co. is the only pile driving firm in
New Jersey that has the equipment capabilities, the technical expertise,
and the construction know-how to install the vast range of piles
that is required. Whether the pile locations are close to the rig's
access or as far away as fifty-seven feet, Linde-Griffith Construction
Co. has and can install them. This capability is just one of the
many that separates Linde-Griffith Construction Co. from the others.
WE DO IT ALL!
DRILLED
FOUNDATION PILES, EARTH & ROCK ANCHORS, AND CAISSONS
Although Linde-Griffith Construction Co. has historically been
known as a "conventional pile driving specialist", we
are far from limited to that role. Our fleet of drills includes
equipment for installing all sizes of soil and rock anchors, auger
rigs for installing caissons to a maximum of eighty-four inches,
and rigs for installing micro piles and mini piles.
Soil and rock anchors often offer the most economical solution
to temporary or permanent site stability or excavation support requirements.
Linde-Griffith Construction Co. designs these anchors to withstand
the project's anticipated loads. The use of these anchors is not
uncommon with temporary deep excavation retaining systems or as
a component of permanent retaining walls. Linde-Griffith Construction
Co. utilizes various drilling methods, such as rotary duplex with
air and water, pneumatic, open hole, and others, to install the
anchors.
Linde-Griffith
Construction Co. installs micro piles to stabilize settling or deteriorating
foundations or to increase the capacity of footings in limited headroom
conditions or where access for conventional equipment is restricted.
These small diameter, friction and/or end bearing, deep foundation
tools can transfer ultimate loads of up to three hundred fifty tons
to a competent soil/rock stratum.
Heavy concentrated foundation loads often are transferred to competent
bearing by utilizing caissons. Linde-Griffith Construction Co. has
the capability to install caissons to a maximum of eighty-four inches
in diameter into soil or the hardest rock formations.
"When
you need us we are there!"
Linde-Griffith Construction Co. realizes the importance of on-time
project starts and early project completions. Linde-Griffith Construction
Co. believes we demonstrate the care for our customers and the expertise
for their projects better than anyone else does. To insure this,
Linde-Griffith Construction Co. employs a strict level of control
over all our operations.

Linde-Griffith Construction Co. is self-reliant. This is evidenced
by every aspect of our project management and control, from our
in-house capacity to mobilize cranes and equipment, to our on-staff
construction and layout services, to our ability to adjust immediately
to varying material requirements, to our daily supervision of each
project. Linde-Griffith Construction Co. employs our own personnel
and utilizes our own equipment, depending on no outside vendor to
service our projects.
Linde-Griffith Construction Co., with our fleet of heavy-duty tractors
and trailers, moves our own cranes and equipment, sometimes within
hours of our customers order. Linde-Griffith Construction
Co. is mobilized and ready to commence construction operations,
often times, in less than one day after receiving the notice to
proceed.
An owner of Linde-Griffith Construction Co. supervises each of
our projects. This on-site executive management and supervision
allows for timely, accurate, and committed field decisions. This
practice further demonstrates to each of our customers that their
project is being constructed by a professional pile driving company
that has a vested interest in mutual success.
